Phone Kid never really gets a word in edgewise whenever people ask him what his name is, so everybody just resorted to "Phone Kid" because he's always on that dang cell phone of his. He tries, by golly, but he's too shy to speak up when the arguments start, so his opinion often goes overlooked. Despite this, his powers are a valuable PR asset when it comes to turning the tides of favor at the school one way or the other, so he's good to have around in a pinch, especially against a foe with cognitohazardous abilities.
